Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 9:00 pm.  Hours for employees will fall into various shifts to allow us to meet the needs of our business. 
 
Customer Service Advisors
 
As our Customer Service Advisor you will provide customer service support and advice to StarTech.com resellers and end-users.  Your primary role will be to; assist customers using a number of mediums such as phone, e-mail, and live-chat in order to: process orders, promote products, provide product and service information, resolve product and service concerns.  In addition, there will be some out-bound calling to our current customer base. 
 
We have opportunities for some of our Customer Service Advisors to work from both their home and/or our office Monday to Friday between the hours of 5:00am – 9:00pm
 
Our ideal candidates will have:
 
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Systems Technology, Business or Marketing related program.
  • Knowledge of the IT industry and IT products
  • Hands on experience with computer hardware is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using Contact Center software, preferably NEC Unified Communications Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented global growing company
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail for accurate ordering processing and logging customer information in our CRM system

Those who are bilingual will be given preference. Specifically we need individuals who have a passion for technology, education and/or experience in technology and the ability to speak one of more of the following languages in addition to English;
