Global Marketing Communications Manager

The Global Channel Marketing Manager provides a critical link between customers, product, sales and marketing. By leveraging various global marketing programs including Distributor and Direct Marketing programs and events, sales collateral, industry trade shows, product catalogues and PR, this team will execute on an integrated global marketing plan for the relevant business partner models (Distributors, DMR’s, VARs etc.).

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Develop, design, implement and measure direct marketing programs
  • Develop, design, implement and measure marketing programs at both distributor and reseller levels across the globe
  • Manage and monitor execution of all channel-marketing programs, working closely with partners as well as sales and product management
  • Manage and track ROI resulting from programs and campaigns
  • Responsible for partner communications ensuring targeted brand positioning
  • Execute partner events, conferences and meetings
  • Responsible for product launch plans for the channel
  • Evaluate program opportunities based on consistency with overall business goals and marketing strategy, financial ROI, brand synergy, potential impact/visibility and execution requirements
  • Evaluate and measure current processes and where necessary establish more efficient and consistent ones

Education and/or Experience
  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in business and/or marketing
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Channel Marketing experience, preferably global experience
  • Strong understanding of the channel system – role of distributor, DMR,VAR
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts
  • Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams including sales product management and finance
  • Strong writing skills are imperative
  • Excellent budget management skills required
  • Strong people leadership skills
